Out of all the things I’m not excited to give up, oatmeal may be one of my top things.
With my disability oatmeal is one of the few ‘easy’ foods I’ve gotten so attached to. I can eat it daily without getting overwhelmed and averse to it, I or my partner can do overnight oatmeal the night before and have something in the morning, quick oatmeal in the microwave or just leave it on the stove and it takes barely any energy (I have zero energy for high energy recipes with my fatigue levels)
Plus it’s just so damn comforting ðŸ˜
Anyone found good grain free substitutes? I’ve seen farina mentioned, but how can something that’s literally wheat be grain free?
Would love something I can have both fresh and in an overnight oats way
