I’ve been wanting to try AIP for awhile now to help with my ME/fibro/POTS and been stuck from even attempting because of the seeing lots of talk about it taking the whole 30 days to recover from even a single use of trigger, ie if you have completely perfect diet for 29 days and then have one cup of coffee it’s back to square one. Due to a few life circumstances such as current full time travel, state of my physical/mental health etc, I know there is no chance of me 100% doing this for 30 days. I could pretend there is or guilt myself but there’s no chance of me doing so right now (so please no convincing or doing willpower shit)
So my question is- is there pretty much no point in cut back at all if you can’t fully commit? There’s a couple things I can guarantee I can go 30 days without- alcohol and likely coffee. But realistically everything else on the list I can do a 25-75% cut back on, but not 100%.
Is it worth doing even that for results, or should I simply wait until I’m at a place in my life where I can fully commit to make an attempt?
