Do I need to let my refrigerated pizza dough rise again when I take it out, or do I just let it get to room temperature?

I took it out from the fridge after letting the risen dough sit in the fridge to ferment. It looks a bit small now though after I took it out of it’s container, like it did when it hadn’t risen. I put it back in the container since it was ever so slightly cold anyway. Am wondering if I should just wait for it to get to room temp, or if it needs to rise again?
