I’ve been googling and searched this subreddit’s pages for some tips on this but wasn’t able to find what I’m looking for. I bought curry powder for the purpose of making curry and see that people typically sauté onions, ground ginger, and garlic in a pan to start. Afterwards, the coconut milk and curry powder is mixed in. Is there another way you all would recommend making curry out of curry powder? I keep reading that it’s always better to make your own curry powder, but don’t want to waste the premixed curry powder that I have now. Is there a different recommended liquid base instead of coconut milk?
