So yeah here goes- without giving you all the wicked detailed history, I am looking for cold appetizer ideas for the family this year. I already have 2 hot selected (a sausage stuffed apple with camembert and stuffed mushrooms) and I am beyond stumped on what to do for cold... I found a pretty good prosciutto and nectarine crostini but idk. the folks around the house are mostly either in the industry or foodies so I want to impress. My mother usually handles all aspects every year but I offered to take the load off this time and do the apps. My younger brother is a sommelier and always has a choice selection of wines (usually he goes to the red end of the spectrum) so any pairings on that end would be winning. I guess to keep in the spirit of this particular board I am looking to solve the red wine pairings issue really. Thanks in advance :)
