I had some ground turkey in the fridge that needed to go. My plans were to make chili but I found out I had no tomatoes/canned tomatoes. Instead, on a whim I browned the turkey threw it in the crock pot (actually did this before I realized the tomato situation), I added some gemili pasta, water, sauce, garlic, and some alfreado sauce we bought for dip but only used enough to make the sauce pink, and basil cubes from the freezer. I figured if I added some water to the crockpot it would be enough to cook the pasta. How does pasta cook in a slowcooker, how much water is needed.
