I scratched my friends stainless steel pan using a green scotch brite pad. How can I buff them out?
Post Body

So turns out I am that terrible person who scratches someone’s pan while house sitting :(

Here is a picture I took:

I used a green scotch brite in a circle around the edges, then in different directions on the bottom as an abrasive to remove some burnt debris

Is it possible to remove these scratches without going scorched earth with fine grit sandpaper etc? Ideally I’d like to buff the scratches out and then use it a couple more times to make it look how it was when my friends left for vacation.

Please help! I have great respect for the folks Im house sitting for, and I really don’t want to mess that up.
