Pork Butt: Pressure Cook or Slow Cook?
Post Body

Hello all, I am looking to take a shot at making a pork butt for carnitas but I am not certain of which method to use. I have an Instant Pot that has both pressure cook and slow cook settings. It seems like most people say pressure cook is better for flavors but slow cook is better for texture.

When it comes to pork butt and carnitas specifically, which would you all say is more important?

In addition, if the pork I am using is roughly 4.5lbs, what cook times would you all use for each option?

P.S. before anyone asks: no I do not have a dutch oven.
