Coconut paste from shredded dried coconut - Does my blender suck?
Post Body

I'm trying to make a smooth coconut paste for a chocolate filling, so I'm trying to avoid adding water.

I mixed in a blender 80 grams of coconut oil and 70 grams of shredded dried coconut, but the texture is very sandy. It does improve if I blend longer, but I still feel the little grains. My blender is 550 watts.

Will I ever get a smooth paste if I used a better blender, like a 1200 watt Nutribullet or Ninja?
