Post Body

so i'm making a 9' round 2 layer chocolate fudge cake and i doubled this recipe for frosting and landed here.

is this enough for frosting and filling my cake? i also wanted to pipe a border on the bottom. thank you!

520 g Dark Chocolate (Use a chocolate you enjoy eating)

260 g Unsalted Butter

200 g Powdered Sugar

4 Teaspoons Vanilla

1 Teaspoon Instant Coffee Granules (Optional)

Pinch Salt

400 ml Whipping/Heavy Cream

edit: i would like it to be thick not thin, the best way i can describe it is like those chocolate fudge cakes from the grocery where the fudge is set
