will it be easy to ice my cake if i only leave it in the freezer for 12 hours?

originally, the plan was for it to go the full 24 hours like the other batches i made. unfortunately, it broke in half when trying to get it out of the pan and i have to have it iced and ready by sunday around noon-ish time. will 12 hours work?
