I’m a 21M who has been smoking weed daily for two years. I always get my stuff from a dispo, and my tolerance is pretty high. Two days ago, I took a hit and suddenly got anxious, (i.e.: racing heartbeat, pit in my stomach, feeling like i have to go a million miles an hour) but I didn’t pay it any attention, until I started having this feeling of fear that I was dying? It was a new experience and long story short, I had to be given an anti-anxiety at the hospital. The next morning, I was getting ready for my morning hit, but stopped because I was frozen with the same fear I felt the previous night. I didn’t smoke the thc, and instead just vaped normal nicotine. Nothing happened that day, but the next day (today) I woke up extremely anxious and scared, but it wasn’t at the scale it was during the first attack. Later in the afternoon, after still not smoking weed, I had a full blown attack, with another following in the evening, with each lasting around two hours. Is this normal for anyone else who develops anxiety while smoking, or should I talk to someone about getting anti-anxiety meds?
I would also love to hear some of your best ways to calm down, I’m legitimately new to the anxiety game 😅
Thank you!
