Basically up until a couple weeks ago I’d been in a good spot, not much in the way of crippling anxiety but for the last 2-3 weeks every single time I drive to work I’m getting hit with a “I need to pull over I’m about to lose my mind” wave of anxiety. It happens after work driving home as well and at work, but days I’m off it doesn’t bother me at all. My drive to and from work takes me on a busy highway but up until today id been able to sort of stave it off until I left. I’ve had anxiety just about all day today like any second I’m not focusing on something it feels like I’m slipping out of consciousness where I don’t feel my body and have to refocus. Am I just freaking myself out in the car or at work, cause it’s rough when it does happen. I’m going to be seeing someone about this but wanted to look for some advice in the mean time. I don’t really want to be on medication but if that’s what it takes to be able to function at work without anxiety.
