Found what I believed to be a lasius queen ant December 27th 2024 while cleaning up yard no eggs brood or colony in site I took her put in a tube set up i see one eggs today she is holding is this possible that she grows colony? Plz reply have more questions

Preview thumbnail for I think I got a queen but I need help identifying. Caught just today after a week of rain in late September in dfw. Doesn’t make much sense time wise all other conditions were right. Found her all alone on a path and she was much bigger than the other ants around the area. Not sure. Any ideas? image
