Heya, I'm Alex. And like most people on this subreddit, I'm looking for a relationship. And if you're reading this, you probably are too. So let's build on that. Tell me what you're looking for and ask me every question you can think of that helps you get to know me. I'm better at answering than asking, but I'll do my best to get to know you too.
About me:
I'm 5'8, Caucasian, 160ish pounds, I wear glasses and have lots of facial hair. Feel free to ask for a pic
I'm an introvert, I feel most at peace being in solitude while playing a PC game while having a TV show playing on a side screen. But I still enjoy a change of activity once in a while, and I'm always up for hanging with friends or someone important to me.
I work at a grocery store and I plan to for the foreseeable future. Sure I'd like to have more money, but unless a better job falls in my lap, the time and effort of getting the qualifications needed for something better is not worth it to me when I can be content with what I have now.
Politically, I think it's all one big dumpster fire and all we can do is watch it burn. Everyone in politics is corrupt, and most of the public is either brainwashed or too naive to see how hopeless things have gotten.
Religiously, I am a deist-agnostic. I don't dismiss the possibility that there is an all powerful being somewhere out there, but if that is the case, that being did not directly interact with us. I don't believe in ghosts, reincarnation or an afterlife, I expect death to be the same as non existence. Altho I truly hope it's not.
I'm a cat person. I don't have any pets at the moment, but I've lived with cats most of my life. I think they're cleaner, softer, smell nicer, have better temperment and are lower maintenance than dogs. That's not to say it's a deal breaker if you have a dog, but a big plus if you got a cat.
I don't want kids. It's a far bigger responsibility than I ever want to undertake, and I consider the future of society and humanity much to bleak for it to be a good idea.
What I'm looking for in a partner:
Looks aren't important to me. That's not to say it's not a factor at all, but if you feel insecure about something, it probably wouldn't bother me at all.
I appreciate a woman who is straightforward. It's frustrating having to be on alert for hints and then having to interpret what they mean when you could just tell me how you feel and what you want. Which I guess is another way of saying good communication is important to me.
A sense of humor would be appreciated. I enjoy sharing silly gifs with my friends, and I'm not sure things will work out if that's not something that would put a smile on your face.
