I just recently turned 57 and while I don't feel any different than I did a month ago, it looks so much older than 56....does this still count as my "middle" 50s?
Of course, I remember how much older 30 seemed than 29. That's the funny thing about aging and age gaps...somehow we still have the same experiences, getting older and feeling things change, while our elders laugh at us and say, keep up, kid. I'm still hearing it and I'm staring down 60.
I'm looking for a friend, some casual chat, and the possibility that we might click. I am not looking for to find my person here, or a "serious relationship"...but I would hope we become friends for the long term, and that "friendship" might, let's say, benefit us both.
I am an educated arts professional and in some ways still come off like the cool college professor I used to be (or think I was, anyhow). I love music and the outdoors and roadtrips and cozy coffeehouses and funky bars. But if that casual chat makes a connection, it might not matter where we are. I am 420 friendly (ok let's be real, more than friendly), a casual social drinker, no cigs, no kids. I am self-employed with a fair amount of freedom in my schedule. Over 25 preferred.
