I’ll preface this post by saying I’m in a relationship, so I’m not seeking a relationship or sex. I’m looking for a healthcare worker to treat me like either their kid or a patient.
I’m not close with my mom emotionally. So, for several years, I went to the hospital to get affection, love (or what I perceived as love), and attention.
I’ve had 14 suicide attempts, and I thought nothing could make me happy. However, when I received attention and care from the hospital or EMS staff, I felt immensely better, with my depression lifting.
I remember during my most recent hospitalization, of which I’ll spare the gory details, I came into the ER severely depressed and seeking a psychiatric hospitalization for severe depression. But when a nurse who took care of me many times came into the triage room and gave me a hug, it took away my depression.
I say all that to say this: healthcare workers have a special place in my heart. They fill the void of where my mom’s love is supposed to be. They have helped save my life physically and mentally on countless occasions. Therefore, it would mean the world to be if you, a healthcare worker, would be my chosen mom.

P.S. I was a certified nursing assistant at one point. I worked at the hospital on med/surg. So I’d love to discuss anything job-related with you, too.
