Ahhh the internet…a tool that has increased accessibility a hundredfold while cheapening connections by at least the same. I’ve sworn off the apps, yet as a small-town introvert it does behoove me to try SOMETHING beyond organically meeting someone at a grocery store, bar, etc. I’ve been divorced for closing on three years and single the vast majority of that time; I’m not yet jaded but let’s just say if you feel like you are I understand.

Adulting is in-hand over here, outside of a bombass monogamous relationship. Long-term career, vehicle ownership, two-bedroom duplex (empty nester), credit score bounces between 730ish-750ish and I’ve got all my teeth (based on dating app profiles I guess this is a thing that bears mention?!?). I’ve done my time in therapy; past traumas will not impact future relationships. Raised two AMAZING humans who I will brag about given any opening; cool if you have kiddos but I am not interested in having more.

Unsure where in this post to place this: I live in Wisconsin…I’m incredibly open to moving WITHIN the state to live with a partner at the appropriate time, but beholden to staying in-state. My rent is such a bargain I’m inadvertently stuck where I’m at until that point, no sense in moving just to move again someday.

Hmmmm personality traits…I’m kind, honest, hard-working, empathetic, strong, funny, thoughtful, and much more. Have a great sense of humor and I use it as a coping mechanism for many things; gotta be able to laugh when times get tough. I strive to be my best self every day and find it easy to do so 99% of the time (and work my ass off to do so on that darn 1% of days!).

I’m 6’, 190lbs, and hwp…I think I’ve aged well, though I’ve attached a pic so you can judge for yourself. I do yoga daily, and go for long, swift walks (3-5 miles) at least 5 days a week. I haven’t lifted weights in over a year due to an ongoing tennis elbow situation, am closing in on a surgical fix (hopefully a scope for the quicker recovery time) after seemingly EVERY possible test and injection known to man ha. I can’t wait until I can get back to lifting.

Within a relationship I am very affectionate and sexual. I lived in a dead marriage for FAR too long, so I’m a touch-starved mofo hehe. I’m a skilled lover who learns his partner’s body swiftly, and who neeD/s more than vanilla a significant portion of the time (I’d be to the left of the slash). I’m also an amazing kisser, and humble to boot. ;) The bottom line is I know what I want, I won’t force a vibe that isn’t there and I’m poised to make one lucky lady very, very happy.

Commonalities are great, so here’s what I do when I’m not drafting the best damn Reddit ad you’ve ever read. In the winter I tend to hibernate; a great time to catch up on reading, shows/movies and gaming (I own all three current gen consoles). I’m also a very strong home cook and show love by doing so, mentioned here because there’s more time to do so when hunkering down during winter. Apropos of nothing I LONG for the cheesy things like matching Christmas PJ’s, alas I’ve been single every holiday season since the divorce.

In the summer on, in or near the water is my happy place. Kayaking, fishing, swimming and tubing rivers are amazing ways to spend summer days. Hit the ocean for the first time last June, and was so smitten with it (the sound of the tide ahhhhhhhhhhh) I’m going back this June. I love gardening when I’m able, hitting farmer’s markets, stand-up comedy, festivals, trying new restaurants, hitting dive bars and playing bar games, exploring new areas and state parks…just getting out and living life, you know? I enjoy a good cocktail but rarely get drunk, unless it’s a holiday or I’ve reconnected with old friends, i.e. a special event. 420 friendly and it’d be dope if you were too.

Your age and race do not matter at all. Attraction is an obvious must, but for me comes in myriad forms. I SLIGHTLY favor petite frames (easier to throw over my shoulder hehe) but adore curves and play well with them too. Commonalities obviously help build a foundation, so the more the merrier. You’ve seen me, so I’d greatly appreciate a pic in your opening message. I’d never be rude or cruel if I wasn’t attracted; honestly I wouldn’t respond. There’s no way to lessen that sting so why bother saying anything?
