Well I figure no better place to find a fellow nerd than reddit... I'll start with a bit of a backstory. Recently-ish out of an almost decade long relationship and I'm relatively new to the area, people don't seem to go out as much around here or at least it's not a city type of vibe where you just meet a lot of people all the time. Not that it happens as often these days anywhere. Anyway before giving in and installing the hellscape that is Tinder, I want to see if I can meet someone who at least somewhat shares my general interests and wants something more serious.

With that said you should be younger than me, I mean that's partially why we're on this sub, into some form of "nerd culture" - which I know is a broad term that's hard to quantify/qualify, but things like gaming, cars, comic books, tech, writing, anime, anything random, ect... maybe lots of people are into that stuff these days, but that wasn't always the case. I just want someone to finally watch One Piece and go to con with... not too much to ask I hope. You should also be looking for a relationship, I mean we might meet and it might not happen but I'm not looking for a hookup or to be part of some dating tetrahedron. Outside of that I'm into the outdoors (I enjoy biking, hiking, swimming and camping), going to museums and other random events. I try to be well rounded.

I'm 36 and white, blond, 6'2" with an athletic build... and I'm working on my fitness, hopefully you can join me. I look younger, or so I'm told, and don't mind sharing photos. I don't have preferences regarding ethnicity or other specific attributes, we obviously have to be attracted to each other though - but different people can be attractive for different reasons, so I'd prefer a description and to exchange photos in order to make a decision, instead of hard "no"s here.
