Howdy ya'll. I am looking ahead to the coming winter and my goal is to spend a significant amount of time base training just below my aerobic threshold. I know there are many ways to try and estimate my HR at Aerobic Threshold, but is there a more accurate way to measure? I do not trust the estimations from things like Maffetone, 220-age, nose breathing only, etc.
I am able to take lactate measurements by myself while running on a treadmill so I am hoping there is some kind of ramp test that I can do on a treadmill that uses regular lactate measurements.
Thank you!
