My right foot turns out just a few degrees from pointing forward. My left foot points forward just fine. This doesn’t cause me any terrible pain or horrible problems, but still minor issues I’d like to fix to get the most out of my runs. Because my foot is slightly out turned, I get regular blisters right below the ball of my big toe on my right foot (not horrible or huge, but enough to be a problem). This also causes a slightly uneven push off since when I step to compensate for my foot landing forward, my knee bends slightly to the right, and while I can still run straight, I do need to consciously compensate just a bit. I’m also a barefoot (I wear vivobarefoots to run) runner and mid foot/forefoot strike. I’m wondering if anyone has had a similar issue and knows any rehab exercises to correct this.
