Doubles vs. singles
Post Body
Is it more beneficial to do singles if your miles per week aren't very high? I'm training for a 5k and my coach has me doing 60-70 miles per week this summer, but doing 5 two-a-days every week. Would I be fitter if I did the same miles per week without doing as many doubles? If I couldn't sustain as high miles per week doing more singles, would it be best to lower my miles in order to get a longer average run? How much evidence is there on this topic?
