So I’m Pakistani of Pashtun descent but I don’t hold that political opinion like you all are just like me. Thing is I try hard to assimilate and I personally am not big into Bollywood and that other brown stuff. And I feel I get judged heavily for that…it also doesn’t help I look too white to be brown so I also had some envy come my way with them. To keep it simple, I look similar to Devin Booker/Klay Thompson/Jayson Tatum. Not sure how you people get along but I feel I have a bigger obstacle than others of my same race. I don’t want to be racist to my own kind but I got treated better by white people
There's no monolithic desi culture. I'm desi and I'm not into bollywood. There's more to being desi than bollywood and cricket.
