Hi all,
I'm intrigued by 5/3/1 BBB and planning on trying the program for 6 months or more.
I'm a kickboxer and as such, tend to favor anterior chain muscles in training. Years ago when competing I had a personal trainer who told me my PC was underdeveloped and we focused on that for strength and conditioning, with good results.
My question is, with the exception of the deadlift, what is the logic behind only favoring anterior chain exercises in the program?
I understand the supplemental work includes pull ups etc. But the focus is clearly anterior chain.
Can anyone explain to me why there aren't pull-ups and rows as a focus in this program?
