Running lights

Has anyone figured out a way to make only the running lights and not headlights turn on with the ignition? I have a friend with a ‘23 white 400 where the running lights turn on when ignition is turned whereas my ‘23 krt 400 wouldn’t do that. And my ‘24 zx6r also doesn’t do that or at least I don’t know how to make that happen. TIA
