Healthy ways to deal with sweets cravings?

Fruits and yogurt cant seem to effectively tamper my near constant cravings of sweets, only things like ice cream and various pastries(chocolate doesn't help either) Ive managed to not gain any signifignant weight gain, but I know they aint good for my health long term. Would baking pastries be better instead of buying them from a supermarket? Im on a 50mg dose btw
