I am on 25mg right now and can already feel my anxiety levels diminish. I was previously on Lexapro for 3 years and it never had any effect on my panic disorder or my body sensations that caused my panic and daily white knuckling anxiety. So far with Zoloft it is night and day difference. I no longer get the pounding heart, palpitations or the constant feeling of going down a roller coaster, etc.

I am very hopeful with this medication. I have been having panic attacks nearly every other week if not every week, and there was a time it was almost every day I was fighting off a panic attack. I can tell it has given me a sense of calm. Lexapro did not - it only made me extremely tired and gain a lot of weight.

So far my side effects with Zoloft have been mild nausea the first couple of days (not anymore), dry mouth, muscle cramps and feeling like I can't get enough to drink. I will take these side effects over Lexapro any day.
