I was on Lexapro for three years until I stopped in November 2022. I stopped because of weight gain, constantly tired like I could sleep 24/7 and didn't help my panic disorder. After 3 months of no SSRI's, I realize I need them to function - even after eliminating caffeine and alcohol, my body was still a ball of nerves - tingly scalp, feeling like I am always going down a roller coaster, adrenaline dumps occasionally that turn into panic attacks. The physical part of my anxiety is unbearable.
I am now on day 2 of 25mg Zoloft and I am already seeing a slight improvement. I haven't had any side effects so far other than mild nausea feeling. But I notice my physical symptoms have reduced a tiny bit, and am hopeful that they continue to the longer I take it.
Just a couple weeks ago I called 911 for a panic attack that shot my blood pressure up to 165/105 when the squad checked my vitals. I am hopeful zoloft will help.
