You might need your sunglasses inside as well as out. This is a beautiful house but the price is outrageous even for Hawaii. It is located in Pahoa on the Big Island. Pahoa is a town of predominately locals, rather than being a town with big hotels, resorts and. It is also quite near where the 2017 volcanic eruption destroyed neighborhoods. Bc of these reasons, homes there are usually less expensive than other parts of the island. The listing says it’s on the ocean but that’s not really really true. You can’t look out your window and see waves.
You don’t usually have to pay over a million to find a nice place in Pahoa. And this place is funky in many ways (the exterior for one. You might notice the place has been on the market for months.
And what’s the room with nothing in it but a swing?

WAY overpriced. This area is crappy and extremely humid and rainy and generally gross. Everything molds…everything!
