I'm Andrew, one of the original developers of ziftCOIN. I'm stepping in to fix some of the bugs many of you are seeing.

First up, some of you are having issues connecting the seed servers. No, the blockchain is not down / inactive. The network is still up and operational but if you don't have any peers when you launch the client the seed servers are critical to connect you to new peers.

Over the next couple of days I will be debugging / fix the seed server issues so that people who don't have a list of known peers can connect to the network.

I'll post an update shortly when that is fixed.

Update: Both IP based seed servers are now running and accepting connections. New users should be able to find peers upon opening the client. We will continue to improve it via the DNS based node discover. See update comment for more details.
