In the current ziftrCOIN environment much of the of the hashrate is consolidated on just two of the pools. If you're on a pool with a very high hashrate, or are just a new miner, please consider using one of the less populated pools. It's important for the health of the network that the hashrate be spread out as much as possible.
There are a number of pool options for you to choose from now for mining ziftrCOINs. These include:

Note you will need the experimental CPU miner from http://ziftrpool.io/downloads to connect to stratum pools
There is also a common misconception that as a miner you will earn more by being connected to a pool with a higher hashrate. This isn't actually true. A pool with a higher hashrate just has less variation in its payouts. The only thing that determines how many coins you get from a particular pool is your hashrate and the pool's fee.
We've also cleaned up our pool code a bit and made it public on our github account. Users can use this to create their own pools if they want. Post here and we'll add them to the list. However, please be aware that this is just the code needed to setup a pool. Setting up a pool isn't for the faint of heart and certainly isn't meant to be user friendly.
