I’m convinced this is the ADHD drug for me. It’s incredibly therapeutic and beneficial. I had absolutely no issue getting (60) 20mg’s last month from my usual Walgreens, and I truly don’t mind paying $172 for brand name because it’s that helpful. I have an appt on Thursday (during which I am sure my prescriber will be fine going up on dosage to 30mg), so I asked the pharmacist earlier this evening if they could go ahead and order me a supply of 30mg’s so that they would hopefully be in by Thursday and can be filled that day. He said there was one bottle of 30mg’s available to order in their system — one bottle of 30 tablets. He said the order went through, and they might have them Wednesday afternoon. I then asked if I should just stay on the 20mg’s, and he said those are backordered. So, idk what to do here. Really not wanting to go back on Adderall as this medication is far superior IMO. But also not wanting to jump through hoops every month to get my medication either. Idk if there’s any rhyme or reason to the shortages or if it’s more regional and just dependent on location (I’m in Louisiana). Anyone have any experience or insight as to usual availability for this drug? I guess I’m inclined to still move up to 30mg’s and just hope they can get another bottle in soon? 🤷🏼‍♂️😩
