Just like the plugin system in Obsidian and VS code was a big reason behind their success. I think Mauro made a genius decision by implementing the Theme store. This gives everyone freedom to make the browser truly their own and customize it to their heart's content, which other browsers lack severely in. I absolutely love the fact that there are themes for very specific issues that I was having or the preferences I had. In the shitty world of chromium based browsers, anti adblock policies, and Firefox's subpar features and horrible rate of development, Zen is truly a breath of fresh air.

Yeah themes have a very different connotation to them. I would call the plugins or mods. Mods seems to be the better choice because you're effecting the browser directly. Themes are usually just a visual representation of how you want the shell of the browser to look.
