I need some help finding a non-western rendering of the Dharani of Removing Disasters, AKA Sho Sai Shu Dharani
Post Body

Namu samanda moto nan o hara
Chi koto sha so no nan toji
To en gya gya gya ki gya ki
U nun shifura shifura
Hara shifura hara shifura
Chi shu sa Chi shu sa
Shu shi ri Shu shi ri
So haja so haja se
Chi gya shiri ei somoko

I use this dharani in my daily practice, and through practice, it has been woven into the fabric of my cognition. I am looking to get it tattoo'd on my arm, even as it is tattoo'd on my un-mind. Through Google, I can only find romanized translitterations, and even though it is not-different, I would prefer to call out across space and time with non-western characters.

Adoration to reddit monks of Great Compassion. Svaha!

From ColdMountainZen.Org :

The gist of the Sho Sai Shu is this: We are slaves to our innate ignorance about ourselves. We think we exist independently of each other and other things and in a world that is forever and truly dualistic, just as the discriminating mind perceives it to be. But this is ignorance; this is the darkness in which all self-suffering and self-striving thrives. There is a Great Light, says the scripture, which dispels the darkness of ignorance and its offspring, suffering. This light is the Light of Enlightened Beings (Buddhas), for whom obstructions fall away in the union of form and emptiness. β€œLet us adore this Great Light of Oneness. Let us speak its unspeakable message; let us burn in its moisture and drown in its flame; let us burst ourselves asunder in its heights and depths!” The Sho Sai Shu is composed of the incomprehensible but purifying sounds (gya, gya gya ki, gya ki, etc.) of the speaking, burning, drowning, bursting Self.

Edit: OK, it's not Zen, I was mislead by Gary Snyder. But for such an auspicious selection of syllables, there is very little out there on the google. As the Monks here in Brooklyn say, "Sorry, not-Sorry"
