I grew up on the N64 era and Zelda Ocarina of Time was the first game I ever beat as a kid. I was very young, maybe 5 and it came at a very pivotal point in my life before everything fell apart for me from my family suddenly falling apart to the point I'm now picking up pieces today, as a 26 year old adult.
I've only played Majora's Mask really and Minish Cap since then and haven't really touched Zelda since I was young. I tried BOTW but it wasn't for me, only because the framerate was really hard on my eyes as I've gotten used to PC gaming. (this isn't hating btw, it seems like a great game)
As an adult everytime I hear songs from that game, like Gerudo Valley or the title screen song I burst into tears because of the pure nostalgia and the pure emotion put into some of the music into the OOT OST. Even all these years later it just hits me so hard.
Anyone else like that? Like have an interest in ZElda even if they haven't "touched" the franchise in forever but still feel incredible nostalgia for it?
