Hey guys, maybe some of you were active earlier and saw a post asking for help about my switch not booting into RCM mode. As it happens, I had some guidance from a friend and got past that step so thankfully I was able to delete the post and put all this behind me.. or so I thought.

I was booting into RCM mode and got to work with following the steps on the quickstart guide for loading into the custom firmware menu (steps 9a to 9e). I got as far as step 9d where tapping fusee-primary.bin in the RCM mode booted up a purple loading screen, all good so far it seemed to be working. Then the screen went black, now all subsequent attempts just get as far as clicking fusee-primary.bin and nothing past that will load.

I'm hoping its just something simple, I tried to replace the regular fusee-primary.bin file and loading it but nothing. Is there something I am missing here? Could somebody give some insight on what is supposed to happen next? Is this black screen normal and if so how long would it take to load into custom firmware home menu?
