I need some help with a problem and want to see if anyone has solved it already. I have a 30โ pacific yurt. I built a nice front porch with a roof and am unhappy with the amount of water that comes off the rain diverted right down the sides and on to the decking. The rain diverted is narrower than the deck.
I know they offer a gutter system but my yurt is under pine trees and it would be a nightmare to keep clean. Has anyone come up with any flashing or rain diverting options for around doors that extend past the factory installed ones? I was thinking of just manufacturing something out of aluminum flashing and tucking it under the roof skirt but hoping thereโs a better idea out there.
