Since this is going to be quite long, I better start right away.

Notable Censorship

• The scene that Yuya ordered Gattling Ghoul to gun down Leo has following edits: Gunshot's sound is removed, close up shot when the gun was fired is cut, Leo's scream is toned down, and the middle scene panning shot when Leo was shot is cut (the shot at the end is kept in). At least it's a good thing that the bullets look more like laser, or it would be cut entirely.

• Ray's spectral form has her breast lines obscured and is slightly brighter to water down nudity.

Dialogue's changes

• The scene with Shuzo has dialogue changed to removed any wording related to god, (or any implication that Shuzo had a one night stand with a random woman). In exchange, we get this cute dialogue.

Shuzo: I actualy don't know how old Zuzu is, in fact, I don't remember her first goo-goo or ga-ga either. That's crazy right? But what I do know is that I LOVE her.

• The dialogue about when Yuya was born is kept in.

• Dub!Angry Yuya's voice is more Zarc-y than the Japanese version, thus, the scene can be read as Zarc taking revenge on Leo for putting most of the blame on him for everything that happened.

• Yosho makes an interesting remark in the dub: Zarc chooses Yuya as the main body because of his Pendulum Power (which is why Yuto's spirit didn't went to Yugo's body instead, he wants Yuya to become the strongest among the four).

• Leo outright mocks Reiji's self-made D/D/D deck for being overpowered.

Leo: You'll always be the second best! (Insert Jafar's song here)

• From the 2/3, the voice is now Zarc's instead of raging Yuya. This creates an interesting situation.

Yuzu: Wait! No! Stop it!

Zarc: Hah?

Yuzu: Just stop! I can't see you like this! You're doing it out of anger! Where is that smile I love? This isn't how you duel..! So just stop.. I know deep down you can duel the way you used to duel. Look inside and find the fun!

Serena: Zuzu is right! We all believe in you!

Basically, what Zarc hears is that Yuzu's voice(whose voice is the most similar to Ray's) reminded him who he used to be: a man who duels for everyone's happiness and joy. Added with Serena's, Rin's, and Ruri's praying, and it can be said that their voices and actions do touch his heart. Not all humanity was lost indeed. Also,

Yuzu: This isn't you!!!

Note that all of the dialogues don't contain Yuya's name at all, so it's more likely that Zarc believes that she was talking to him.

• Again, the naked shot of Yuya and Yuzu is kept in.

• Episode 130, Leo started to get anxious.

Leo: Young ladies. Your life energy will further fuel my reactor!

(The reactor starts sucking out the girls' life energy)

Quite unusual that the life energy from four girls is able to power up the machine to 100% when thousand of people's life energy only reached 50%.. unless what filled the 3/4 of their body/soul (the 1/4 is fragment of Ray's body/soul) is the power of nature that is much greater that those of thousand of people.

• Reiji's dub voice is much softer to ears and more sincere than his Japanese voice.

• In the original, it is more or less implied that Yuri was evil/nasty by nature. The dub other hand, suggests that it's nurture.

Yusho: You've caused enough suffering for ten lifetimes. Maybe if Leo.. gave you a couple hours of detention everyday you wouldn't be such a terrible person!

Yuri: Detention you say? But that was my favorite class!

So congratulation Leo, Yuri's loose morality wasn't because he's Zarc's fragment, but because of your poor parenting skill. He wasn't destined to be evil, you are the reason.

• Finally, Yuzu and Ruri's bodies and souls are shattered and sent into Arc-V.

Operator: Reading confirmed! The reactor is approaching 60%. Transfer the subject Zuzu to begin the Unification Procedure!

Leo (still patient): Good..

Yuzu is properly transfered, but Ruri..

Leo (getting impatient): What's taking so long! If Yuri absorbs Yuya, Zarc will resurrect at any moment! We cannot let that happen is that understood?

Operator: Yes Sir it is! But Professor! We need more power before we can transfer Lulu into the Reactor!

Leo (is really impatient): I don't care! Transfer Lulu now! Time is ticking. Just do it already!

So that's definitely what went wrong, with the poor Ruri losing her physical body and having her soul damaged.. damn Leo, damn you.

Final part

That's a lot of developments that weren't present in the original version. We now have 16 episodes left before the dub concludes. The script writers definitely worked hard to at least make things better, and I really appreciate the details about Yuri. Well, later then!
