Brandish....A 60 card monstrosity of a deck[R/F]

Hey there; as you guys are aware of the new brandish cards I decided to make a 60-card deck to boost the anime boss waifu since I found the 40-card variant to lack resources...

...I mean sure you can use moon mirror shield or the equip spells to help you crush the monsters; but that's not fun I wanna power up my waifu dammit; so without further ado here's my decklist


Monsters- 8

3x Brandish Maiden Rei----> This here is the best copyright infringement konami has made in a while (totally not saber cough cough).....jokes aside this card is the heart and soul of this deck; allows u to link summon on the opponents turn and helps recover if your link monsters die

2x Ghost ogre and snow rabbit--->Disruption; i find three copies to be too bricky sometimes so 2 is enough for late game grind

3x Spellbook Magician Of Prophecy--> This is the main monster in the spellbook engine which i run to spam spells into the grave and helps with draw power; I like to search blue book (spellbook of secrets) with it for deck thinning into spellbook of knowledge


Spells-->50

Oh man that's a lot of spells; let's get right to it shall we

1x That grass looks greener---> u will never open with it unless ur super lucky; but still helps with deck thinning regardless

3x Foolish Burial Goods--> Helps set up spells for the grave to be later recovered; also dumps my one copy of metalfoes fusion yay

1x Metalfoes Fusion--> Pray to god u never draw this card; but even if u do it still can be popped through the field spell so no worries; recycles itself from grave into deck and gives a free draw

1x Upstart Goblin--> 59 card deck hehe; pro-builds right there

3x Double Summon--> This is how I deal with the fact that I just wasted my normal summon on the spellbook engine; with the draw power you should be able to get it first turn though

1x Monster Reborn--> cuz why not

1xReinforcement Of The Army--> searches Rei since she is a warrior type and is a spell so good dumping material

1x Magical mallet--> You laugh; but it seriously helped me unbrick my hand one time; also perfect for late play grinding when u have a lot of spells u dont need to use right away

1x Raigeki--> god-tier staple right there

3x Spellbook of secrets--> searches any spellbook card; perfect for deck thinning and searching blue boii or shiny book (spellbook of knowledge)

3x Spellbook Of Knowledge--> Get rid of a spellbook card on field or in hand and draw 2 cards? BROKEN

2x The Grand Spellbook Tower--> Recycles spellbook cards and gives a free draw.... bumped up to 2 copies since people love using ghost ogre on it for some reason

3x Designator From the grave--> Stops handtraps; stops lightsworns; fucks with the grave; what's there not to like about this card

3x Toon table of contents--> The one card spell setup engine; since I hate using the brandish spells without their fullpower effects which require at least 3 spells in the grave

1x Toon world--> Search target; and can be used as discard material for the field spell

1x Twin Twisters---> Dont ask me why I use this card


Brandish Spells

Let me start by saying that Papa Komoney clearly wants us to abuse these spells since they arent one per turn and can be recovered from the grave; so lets make sure we do that

3x Brandish Start-up Engage---> what can I say about this card; it's perfect. Searches everything in the archetype.....and gives a free draw if u have 3 spells in the grave; I cant even

3x Brandish Skill Afterburner--> It targets; I know I know; but its still a great card since it offers free backrow removal so Im using three of it

3x Brandish Mecha Widow Anchor--> A quickplay spell that negates monster effects; and steals monsters till the end phase (I usually dont ); best part is that you can use multiple copies of it same turn for maximum trolliness

3x Brandish Mega Shark Cannon--> Banishes a monster from ur opponent's grave; or steals it if it has a spicy effect ( I usually steal crystal wing with it); Ill take it; also quickplay which is great for disruption

2x Brandish Skill Jamming Wave--> The opposite card of skill afterburner; pops a Spell/Trap then destroys a monster; I only run 2 copies since my opponents usually dont like spamming spells/traps; but feel free to add a third copy if u feel like it

1x Brandish Mecha Hornet Bit--> Honestly I only use this card when I run out of rei's to summon from the main deck; I find more copies of it to be kinda useless since I usually have my link monster out anyways by the time I use it when I tried it at three

2x Brandish Mecha Eagle Booster--> Protects the monsters from card effects and battle destruction; I like to recycle it so 2 is more than enough

2x Brandish Mechanism Multi-Roll--> A.K.A spellbook of judgement (super banned btw); pops a useless spell u control (or the field) in order to protect the spells you play later from opponent interruption which is nice against counter fairies if they dont negate it; and helps recover some of the spell cards you used for extending plays at the cost of banishing them... use it moderately since it prevents spell recycling for later turns... also 3 copies is too bricky for my taste

3x Brandish Airspace Area Zero--> This field spell is so good on so many levels; its a free pot of duality for brandish cards at the cost of popping a card you control if u get a brandish card in the top 3 excavations (I like to use eagle booster to make my search free since my link monster cant be destroyed by it's effect).... Also special summons Rei from the deck if destroyed by a card effect which is super ez in this deck


Traps-->2

2x Storming Mirror Force--> This is only here to help get rid of monsters that are untargettable like that annoying master peace or the upcoming Darkest Diabolos for example; with the insane thinning and draw power of the deck you should be able to get it fast enough


Extra Deck Monsters-->6

Sure you can add more than the brandish link monsters and maybe a playset of scapegoats to spam borreload; but that distracts away from the true justice that is waifu Rei in her different forms so let's keep it at that

3x Brandish Maiden Kagari--> When Special summoned it allows you to recover a Brandish spell from the grave; which is pretty big since you can recover a start-up or an afterburner for example which can be spammed endlessly; be careful though as you can only summon her one time per turn.... This card gains 100 Atk/Def for each spell in grave; let's see how much you can boost her atk to (My highscore is 4400 atk hehe)

3x Brandish Maiden Shizuku--> Reduces the atk/def of all opponent's monster by 100 (Wish it was 200 lol) and searches a brandish spell from the deck at the end phase which is nice if u didnt open with a start-up


And that's it; thank you for making it through this post and tell me what you think; I like this variation since it can grind out for late plays unlike the 40 card version which doesnt run enough spells to Boost the link Monsters imo (Im a sucker for high atk boosts/reductions)
