I got tired of playing Grass Infernoid, so I figured I would try and see if I could harvest some salt from the people at my locals by playing this deck, which I have had since release, but have never played. Without anymore useless drivel, let's get riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiigggggggggggggghhhhhhhht into the deck profile!
Monsters (24):
3x Herald of Perfection, one of the most annoying cards to go against, and a few well timed negates can usually win you most games. Ran at 3 because its basically one of the foundations of the deck.
3x Cyber Angel Benten, this card is pretty crazy, searching out combo pieces, Honest, basic fodder for Herald. And its not OPT. Ran at 3 because making a Herald with it is like your ideal play.
1x Cyber Angel Idaten, useful for giving Herald an even bigger booty and also for making Vrash or Dakini even bigger than normal. Saw it too much at 2 and its searchable anyways, so I put it to one.
1x Cyber Angel Natasha, basically used for stalling until you can gather enough resources to make a go at game. Negates attacks eternally if they are on ritual monsters, and even if they do kill it, you can special summon it back from grave and steal one of their monsters. At one because you wan to see it sam time, but nah all dey time.
1x Cyber Angel Vrash, the game winner. Nukes your opponent's monsters and can also protect your cards from being destroyed as long as you have a ritual in grave. It and Dakini are way too bricky for more than one apiece.
1x Cyber Angel Dakini, gets rid of things like Chaos MAX and other things like that. Also does piercing and recovers resources.
3x Star Seraph Scepter, integral to the Stick and Chair combo (duh) and is a LIGHT Fairy, so it is also Herald fodder. Nets you mad plusses and free pops. At three because you want to see it as often as possible.
3x Star Seraph Sovereignty, the other half of the aforementioned combo. The whole "Can't be used to XYZ unless you have three materials" thing is really annoying, but the combo gets you three draws, and both halves are searchable off Benten if you only have one.
3x Manju of the Thousand Hands, mainly used to get things started and you like to see it as much as possible, so its at 3.
1x Cyber Petit Angel, revivable off Ritual Sanctuary, and its small body is not that desirable, so its only at 1.
1x Honest, searchable off Benten and lets you run over whatever you need to run over.
1x Archlord Krystia, getting this and Herald on the field is pretty much game over. It is also a dead draw a fair amount of the time, which is why its at 1.
2x Denko Sekka, getting Dimensional Barriered or getting your Herald Solemn Striked makes me die inside, so basically you just slap this sucker on the board as your first move if they have backrow up, and then you get the ball rolling. Just added recently, so if anyone has any better ideas, please help me.
Spells (16):
3x Dawn of the Herald, you need to be able to summon Herald immediately, so it is imperative that you open its ritual spell. Also grabs you back your Benten that you used to make Herald, so there's some fodder for it.
3x Machine Angel Ritual, you need this to make one of the many Cyber Angels you run, and it also protects your LIGHT monsters from destruction.
3x Pre-Preparation of Rites, this card is ridiculous in decks that can use it. Basically sets up your whole opening, and there has never been a time where I have drawn this card and not liked it. You need to see it literally every game, so its at 3.
1x Preparation of Rites, its a great comeback card, and its nice that you can activate it so long as the first condition is met. Hurr durr banlist.
3x Ritual Sanctuary, turns any spell you have in to that missing ritual monster or spell you need, and also lets you endlessly summon Cyber Petit Angel, so long as you have the spells in grave, which you almost always do.
2x Terraforming, its like running more copies of Ritual Sanctuary, and gives you that nice deck thinning. Also can be banished for Sanctuary's effect.
1x Twin Twisters, backrow is bad and it should feel bad.
Extra Deck (15 XYZ):
I didn't really know what to put in here, so I basically just put in toolbox stuff.
1x Beatrice, Lady of the Eternal, you can dump Machine Angel Rituals for protection, one more Fairy for Krystia, you name it.
1x Number 39: Utopia Beyond, laughs in the face of big monsters.
1x Photon Strike Bounzer, more negates, because we like that here.
1x Constellar Ptolemy M7, can be ranked up from a later card, so that's pretty cool, but it also bounces annoying things and can recover resources.
1x Stellarknight Constellar Diamond, shits all over things like Grass decks, BA, Shaddolls, DARK decks, etc. Also stops both players from returning crap to the hand. It kinda sucks that you can only make it in Main Phase 2 though.
1x Stellarknight Delteros, amazing in the Stick and Chair combo, because then you get two pops instead of his normal one, and then you can make Diamond after.
1x Evilswarm Ouroboros, because why not?
1x Number S39: Utopia the Lightning, runs over annoying crap.
1x Number S39: Utopia Prime, I had room, and using Lightning twice is pretty good.
1x Number 39: Utopia, obligatory.
1x Cairngorgon, the Antiluminescent Knight, redirects crap like Drident and whatnot.
1x Number 59: Crooked Cook, good for pushing for game, but I've never actually used him.
1x Castel, the Skyblaster Musketeer, staple.
1x Daigusto Emeral, recycling.
1x Abyss Dweller, stops things like Snow and Paleo.
1x Fairy Cheer Girl, draws, man.
Side Deck (15):
2x Dimensional Barrier, I hate this card, but it's hard out here for a brotha in the streets.
3x Artifact Lancea, stops Noids.
2x Twin Twisters, more hate on pesky backrow.
1x Maxx "C", didn't know what else to put.
2x Magical Spring, stops Metalfoes long enough to give you a foothold.
3x Solemn Strike, same as Dimensional Barrier. Both should have been limited.
1x Solemn Warning, this card is good.
So that's it! This deck struggles going second, but I guess that's why you play three games in a match, right? Also have a rough time with Herald getting Kaiju'd. Any and all constructive criticism is deeply appreciated.
