I mean, think about it. Konami seldom brings back old archetypes without it being somewhat pertinent to the Anime in some way. A good example is the Monarchs, where Mobius the Mega appeared, and paved the way for the rest of the Mega Monarchs to be created. With Blue Eyes and Red Eyes getting somewhat retrained, will the OG Trio make an appearance in Arc-V? There have been references to all other seasons of Yugioh, except the Original (Duelist Kingdom/Battle City/Waking the Dragons), so is this a sign that Yugi will make his appearance (finally)?

We're also getting a new Kuriboh, Junkuriboh, who ties in with Yusei's Junk theme. Yusei is from 5Ds, which is the current "location" Arc-V is taking place in.
