So why exactly did CCV went up?

Everyone knew it was going to be back in the next list.
I'm wondering why the increase in price? Hype train or is it confirmed to be short printed? As of right now it's in the $40 mark just for the reprinted Premium Gold 2. I'm confused.
All I know is I'm happy that I pulled Crush Card, Dark Matter, Glow-Up Bulb, and Mathematician in one pack. And I'm happy that I kept my Crush Card and pretended to act clueless at locals yesterday because I saw how people were trying to rip me off with their values lol.
