Something I always found funny, why was Superior/Ultra Polymerization never thought up to be used by Sergei?

There are no cons other than Life Points and Sergei is a masochist too. So 2000 Life points of pain should be no problem. Yes Harmonic Synchro Fusion is superior, but considering Sergei’s Deck only has 3 known monsters (what else is in that deck?) Ultra Poly would have been still a good card to use. I don’t believe at the time in the anime they had any extra effects, they were just fodder for fusions and synchros.
