I already wanted to quit because the game just keeps getting too op. Its crazy to think that a while back black whirlind was on the limited list because black wings were too good. Its sad how much the game changed, those older formats were so much less bullshitty. I didnt want link format, but a part of me could at least accept that when it comes the game can be fixed. Than I saw that True dracos are probably one of the best decks ever created, and other decks like infernoids are unhindered by links. The dumbest thing is that stargrails can extra deck spam like crazy and its a fucking link based deck, what a load of bullshit. Also they can lock opponent out of extra deck by controlling their extra link zone so the mirror match is automatically stupid and sucks. Not to mention any extra deck based deck. Its funny that all the top decks in ocg are the ones that just avoid using link monsters at all which is pretty sad. If you look at all the top decklists im pretty sure you find like 0 link monsters because the mechanic sucks and its stupiud. So just what the hell was the point of links if its not gonna slow down the game? Thats really why I want to quit, I feel insulted by Konami thinking they can force me into a corner of "buy links or dont play". Id rather just quit, and hope the game dies then a better group of people buy it out or something. Another thing that pissed me off about this game is that the banlists are all full of shit. They only hit a card thats old enough that they made enough money from the set it came out of. By the time they even hit a card its too late. The cards that make them money are protected from the banlist. Or cards that are indirectly making them money, like Norden who should have been banned. Or other stuff like Toad and barrier. That was when I realized this game will never be cleaned up, theyll always release bullshit cards on purpose because they make them money. So the cycle is inevitable the game will just get more bullshitty as it goes on. I thought link format could fix things, but true draco is better than probably every deck that was good before zoo came out.
