After the latest Lastpass breach, I've decided to up my password security game, taking the time to change all of my passwords, delete unnecessary accounts and move to a new password manager, with the longer term aim of self hosting.
I've stumbled upon Yubikey and MFA in general as a way of adding an additional layer of security to my online accounts, and was wondering if this is the best solution for an everyday end user, or if other solutions are more appropriate.
Additionally, I can see the new range of cheaper security keys that are FIDO only. Are there any practical concerns that I should be aware of before choosing one of those over the €55-60 devices?
Thanks!
