A friend at my job suggested I look into this after hearing me argue with a couple of my co-workers during downtime at work. He tells me my debates are fun to watch and insightful, and suggested I give YouTube a shot.
One of my major concerns is that I'm not especially knowledgeable in any one subject. My ADHD makes it really hard to go in depth on any particular subject before I get bored, and this leads to me having just a basic understanding of several topics. That said, I do think I'm able to approach conversations with honesty and a desire to promote understanding.
Is that going to be enough though? The topics I enjoy learning about and discussing are technology, dieting, predatory monetization, media influence, politics, society, and mental health. Sadly, I don't think I can add anything that hasn't already been covered by people who are way smarter than me. Maybe someone could get some kind of value out of my videos if I added in my own personal experiences and observations to the mix? How well would things work out if I started a podcast that discusses anything with anyone?
Yeah, idk, I'm just not sure if I can make this work or not. I also have some time/financial constraints that could hold back my upload frequency since I don't have the luxury of living on anyone else's income. I might also have chronic mental health issues to contend with. :/
Any advice at all would be greatly appreciated.
