Hi guys,
I’ve been running a YouTube channel for about two years but only uploading regularly since January this year. Since I picked the channel up seriously I’ve gone from 500 subs to about 700 and gotten decent views on some of my videos. However with all of my uploads this year I’ve had these strange spikes where the videos will suddenly go from 5 one-hour views to hundreds, and then drop back to 5 again like 2 hours later.
Is this how it’s meant to go? Is YouTube simply pushing my videos out for just those tiny slots? Is there something i can do to retain high one-hour views for longer?
Thanks
