I have seen so many posts and comments the past few days saying Lilly Orchard wrote CSAM or calling her Lilly "sister rapist" Orchard. As a victim of CSA and CSAM I'm downright disgusted with the way some of you are treating this situation.

What Lilly wrote is disgusting, weird, completely unacceptable, and not okay, but it is not CSAM. Calling works about fictional characters who cannot actually be harmed that is a slap in the fucking face to the real, living breathing people who have had to go through that abuse. Fictional characters don't have to live with the trauma of going through that. Fictional characters don't have to live with the guilt and shame of knowing there are pictures of them being abused as a child out in the world being looked at by disgusting creeps.

(Sorry if there's some additional context to that that I'm missing, I know less about that part than the sister part)

Calling her a sister rapist may not be inaccurate but constantly throwing that around in an attempt to be quippy really just looks like you don't take these topics seriously.

This isn't even the first time this has been called out.

The other post was being more gentle about it but I'm going to put it bluntly. A lot of people here don't actually give a shit about victims. They may in some sort of abstract way, in theory, but in practice you are actively hurting those you claim to defend. I'm pretty sure a lot of you actually care more about virtue signalling and taking the moral high ground than anything.

Fuck Lilly Orchard. Fuck her. In no way is this a defense of her or what she's done. I hate that she hurt people in the way I was hurt. But some of you need to do some self-reflection on why you're treating something so serious and disgusting like a spectator sport without caring about who you affect in the process.
