Trying to use yt-dlp download from an unsupported site AND the m3u8 is hosted on a different domain
Post Body
I'm new to yt-dlp. I've basically got the following problem:
- Trying to download from a site for which I have a username and password, so I use --cookies-from-browser CHROME
- The site isn't supported and yt-dlp fails with the generic extractor, so I hunt through Inspector for the m3u8 — but it's hosted on a totally different domain.
- So, if I specify the m3u8 file it fails because I'm not authenticated...
So, my choice is either to fail because I'm using the generic extractor and the site isn't supported, or to fail by specifying the m3u8 file because it's on different domain.
Any suggestions?
