Getting video recommendations based off what my roommate watches on their own devices

Hey all, My roommate recently got a kitten and all the sudden I'm getting tons of video recommendations for cat videos, He also watches a lot of political garbage and I get recommended for those too (I though because all the election shit going on).
how do I stop the recs from his watch history? we share wifi but we have our own devices and accts.
